PAID–ESA and IICFIP Forge Strategic Pan-African Partnership to Advance Integrity and Financial Crime Prevention

A new strategic alliance between PAID–ESA and IICFIP strengthens Africa’s capacity in financial crime prevention, compliance, and professional training through world-class programmes and globally recognized certifications.

The Pan African Institute for Development – East and Southern Africa (PAID–ESA) has entered into a landmark strategic partnership with the International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals (IICFIP), marking a significant step forward in strengthening Africa’s institutional capacity in forensic investigation, financial crime prevention, and integrity-driven professional education.

This collaboration establishes a Pan-African platform for advancing expertise in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CFT), anti-corruption, compliance, and forensic investigation, while promoting globally recognized certifications adapted to African realities.

By combining PAID–ESA’s academic leadership and regional development mandate with IICFIP’s specialized global expertise in forensic and financial investigations, the partnership aims to deliver high-impact training, research, and capacity-building programmes for both public and private sector institutions across the continent.

“This partnership represents a strategic milestone in our commitment to strengthening governance systems and institutional integrity across Africa. By working with IICFIP, we are not only expanding access to world-class expertise in forensic investigation and financial crime prevention but also building a new generation of professionals equipped to safeguard transparency, accountability, and sustainable development on the continent. This collaboration reflects our broader vision of positioning PAID–ESA as a leading platform for applied knowledge, professional excellence, and transformative capacity building in Africa.”
